Cogswell & Harrison Ltd, London MKIII* chromed signal pistol, 1917, marked at left frame with aforementioned maker name and model, further marked "GR over flags", broad arrow, British proof mark, "17", left barrel with proof marks, right frame with SN "71349", and matched at underside of barrel lug, 4.1/8" barrel, 1" bore, brass and steel, wood grips, lanyard ring with cord, all metal has been chromed including internal parts, possibly a presentation piece, light scratches, action is good, for shipping 5.5" x 8" x 2", 2.70lbs (39) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
