U.S. Signal Pistol marked at the right frame within a triangular form "CECV, 1943, U.S. Property, Pistol Pyrotechnic, M-8, marked at the backstrap "Serial No. E-155348, butt markings obscured except for "P", 4.1/8" with lugs near muzzle for fixture attachment, the barrel now holding an expended flare shell, action good, finish is brown and silver tone, scratches, black plastic checkered grips, for shipping 9" x 8" x 2", 2.25lbs (205) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN (Texas, 1936-2022)
