Winchester Model 12 Shotgun, slide action, 20 gauge, 2.75" chamber not presently plugged, 27" vent rib including installed Lyman Cutter compensator with Lyman modified screw on choke, the barrel marked cylinder choke, checkered walnut stock and forestock, Winchester butt plate, 14" LOP, metal with light scratching including at left receiver, finish loss on magazine tube, action good, bore is bright with no dents or bulges, SN 1211691 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER* NOTE: The magazine on this shotgun IS NOT PLUGGED. Check you state and local rules regarding maximum number of magazine shells allowed. Provenance: Estate of Henry D. Evans (New York, Texas,1933-2021) Master Sergeant U.S.A.F, Retired. A 23 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served in the Air Force Rifle Marksmanship Unit, Lackland A.F.B., as a marksman and instructor. Evans earned multiple excellence in competition badges throughout his service culminating in the award of the U.S. Air Force Distinguished Rifleman badge, number 84, and was a member of the President's 100, awarded to the 100 top scoring military and civilian shooters in the President's Pistol and President's Rifle Matches.
