Acoma polychrome pottery jar, c. 1930s/1940s, painted on the exterior with a busy composition of large diamond forms, stylized feathers and triangular complements, signed to the bottom Acoma, New Mexico, approx 7.5"h, 9"diam, 2.75lbs Provenance: From the collection of Frank K. Ribelin (1933-2010) through inheritance to consignor. This lot was examined via photograph by a highly regarded specialist in Native American and ethnographic art.
