Salado (possibly Gila) black-on-white pottery bowl, with red exterior, painted on the interior with a box-circle center, appended at the four corners by diamond-form lozenges, and with repeated geometric complements, according to expert bowl is intact with restorations, approx 8"h, 13.5"diam, 5lbs Provenance: From the collection of Frank K. Ribelin (1933-2010) through inheritance to consignor. This lot was examined via photograph by a highly regarded specialist in Native American and ethnographic art.
