English Victorian rosewood table box, mid 19th c., the long hinged top with central cartouche, with fancy engraved monogram JHK and dated 1867, opening to padded top and worn velvet-like liner, removable tray with slim slots, open base with remnants of previous fittings, possibly formerly an instrument box, veneer ridging to top surface, approx 2.75"h, 14"w, 4.75"d, 2.5lbs
