Japanese post WWII era pilots flight goggles, bearing the logo mark of Mitsubishi, maroon frame, black velveteen face cushion, later hand sewn on nose cloth, patterned white silk like headband, celluloid lens with light irregular yellow color and scratches, housed in the original black oval cardboard box with Japanese characters including the Mitsubishi logo, the box lid is complete and detached from the box, for shipping box with goggles approx. 3.75"h, 5"w, 3.75"d Provenance: Estate of Wallace R. Wible, Sr., Texas, Penna. (1926-2016), 2nd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 5th Marine Division, Special Forces (Rangers), Strategic Air Command, Dept. of Air Force.
