Confederate Reunion ribbon with badge, a brass pin back reading "Veteran" above the blue ribbon with gilt lettering reading "Dallas1902", attached below is a brass wreath encompassing a brass star reading "United Confederate Veterans Reunion April 22-25", with a centered Confederate flag, the verso maker marked "Schwab S&S Co, Milwaukee", all mounted on the original manufacturers card reading "Made by The Schwab & Seal Co., Milwaukee", the whole is in extraordinary condition, the blue retains good color, the brass is bright with crisp lettering, the ribbon and bade approx.3.5"l, the card with some folds approx. 4"h, 2.5"w *Provenance: The consignor has stated "This medal belonged to a Confederate soldier who served in the Mississippi Volunteers during the Civil War as a sergeant. It is consigned by his great grandson. A complete provenance will be provided to the purchaser, including the soldier's name, the chain of ownership, the soldier's distinguished history after the war, his obituary, and a photo."
