WWII Era brass and steel deep sea diver's knife, wood grip with split, brass ferrule and pinned tang, a plain drop point blade threads into the cylindrical brass scabbard with integral end and riveted parallel lanyard loop, rust at both ricasso prevents visibility of markings if any, approx. 12.25"l overall, blade 7.25"l, scabbard 7.75"l, total weight approx.1.90 lbs. Provenance: Estate of Wallace R. Wible, Sr., Texas, Penna. (1926-2016), 2nd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 5th Marine Division, Special Forces (Rangers), Strategic Air Command, Dept. of Air Force.
