(pair) Custom-made curtains, upholstered in a designer fabric attributed to Fortuny, in the "Carnavalet" pattern, each having sewn-in pleats and silver-toned hooks at top, lined with white fabric, encasing darkening black panel underneath, bottom corners weighted, measurements taken from top pleated edge: approx 120"l, 40"w, 22.5lbs total Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
