(lot of 3) American sterling silver porringers, various makers and patterns, each with pierced handle, hallmarked sterling with maker's mark under handle, including: (2) Lunt Silversmiths, (one) with foliate trim, marked 755, (one) marked 191, triple MLR monogram at side, (1) Reed and Barton, marked X739, the group overall with scattered denting, largest: approx 2"h, 5.5"l, 4"w, 7.97ozt total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance. The estate features an extensive array of English furniture alongside antique decorative objects, the kind of exceptional pieces that only reveal themselves to collectors who know where to look and what to seek.
