English Georgian period oak mule chest of drawers, early 19th c., hinged top opening to shallow compartment with left side sectioned storage, over six drawers with brass handles and banded inlay, ending on bracket feet, approx 36"h, 48"w, 21.5"d Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
