English Georgian period mahogany chest of drawers, late 18th c., having rectangular top, over pull-out brushing slide and three drawers, rising on bracket feet, central drawer with later mismatched pull, typical separation to top panel, approx 36.75"h, 42.25"w, 20"d Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
