Fine Modernist sterling silver and turquoise concho belt, Frank Patania Sr. (Sicilian-American, born Messina, Italy, active in New Mexico, 1899-1964), rounded rectangular buckle with (nineteen) bezel-set Nevada turquoise cabochons, eleven conforming conchos, on a 1.5"w black leather belt, buckle hallmarked sterling with conjoined FP and Thunderbird shop mark, buckle: approx 3"l, 2 1/8"w, conchos: approx 2.5"l, 1 7/8"w, belt: approx 38.5"l (first hole) to 44"l (last hole), 709 grams (inclusive of all materials) Provenance: The family of Alfred A.
