(lot of 29) French library shelf books, various journals and magazines, history and literature subjects, all with gilt-embossed brown leather binding, most with marbleized cover and end pages, many with raised spine bands, highlights include: (8) custom-bound illustrated journals, all with brown marbleized cover, gilt-banded spines, various publishers and subjects, dates ranging from 1853-1858; (6) "Lisez-Mois Magazine (Read Me Magazine)," published by Jules Tallandier, Paris, (three) volumes I-III of 1929, (three) volumes I-III of 1930; (5) "L'ouvrier: Journal Hebdomadaire Illustre Par Tous les Samedis (Louvrier: Weekly Newspaper Illustrated Every Saturday)," various dates ranging from 1875-1880; largest: approx 15.25"h, 11.75"w, 2.5"d, 118lbs total PLEASE NOTE: All of the antique library shelf books in this auction are inherently fragile.
