(lot of 52) French library shelf books, all published by Nelson, Paris, most with beige fabric binding, with gilt-embossed lettering and draped ribbon motifs, novels by various authors including Alexandre Dumas, Paul Bourget, Jules Claretie, Pierre Loti, and others, largest: approx 6 3/8"h, 4"w, 1"d, 27lbs total PLEASE NOTE: All of the antique library shelf books in this auction are inherently fragile. Most are likely to have patination, foxing, losses to the text block, and wear to the binding commensurate with age and use. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly.
