(pair) Custom-upholstered canopy headboards, 20th c., designed to accommodate a twin-sized mattress, each in floral patterned jacquard upholstery with tassel trim, overhanging crown, over draped back and arched headboard, accompanied by (four) curtain panels, (two) bed skirts, and (two) gathered aprons in matched upholstery, each headboard: approx 112.5"h, 44"w, 27"d, each curtain: approx 106"l, 50"w, skirt: approx 81"l, 66"w, apron: approx 98"l, 18"w Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship PLEASE NOTE: All of the accompanying bed textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
