(pair) French Louis XV style carved wood armchairs/ bergeres, early 20th c., each having arched back and scrolled armrests, in later patterned fabric upholstery, with removable down-filled back and seat cushions, rising on stretcher-joined cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet, each accompanied by single throw pillow, approx 35.75"h, 30"w, 29"d, seat height: 18"h Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
