French Provincial Louis XV style walnut canape/ sofa, 19th c., having carved floral crest and foliate molding, caned back and seat, with a removable seat cushion in a floral-patterned striped upholstery, over scrolling apron, rising on cabriole legs ending on arrow feet, accompanied by four throw pillows in (two) varied upholsteries, approx 42.75"h, 63.75"w, 30.5"d, seat height: 16.5"h Note: pair of matched armchairs offered in this auction Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
