U.S. Model 1939 WWII Winter Overcoat, Staff Sergeant chevrons at both sleeves, the interior label reading in part: "Overcoat, Wool, Melton O.D.....Hy Art Coat Makers Inc. Dated July 3, 1942, (size) 38R , Phila. Q.M. Depot", heavy wool nine U.S. Army eagle buttons, two exterior pockets, approx. measure shoulder to shoulder 19", shoulder to hem 24.5", shoulder to lower hem 44.5", coat in very good condition, for shipping 6.10lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
