(lot of 3) Swords: (1) American sword, a 31.25" ribbed blade with partially obscured and worn foliate scrolled engraving, the clamshell guard with a raised eagle facing left, D guard handle with vertical ribs and pommel, overall 37"l; (1) fraternal sword, the 27.75" blade engraved with the caduceus cross, crossed staffs, bound arrows and the engraved name "S.G. Brown", signed at the ricasso "Parson & Co., St. Louis", the opposite ricasso with an Arabic tent, the guard with the 'all seeing eye' and one side broken off, the handle is wire wrapped, the pommel with knight and tent, housed in a copper scabbard (some verdigris), with similar decoration, overall 36.5"l; (1) Japanese style sword marked "China" on the 26.75" slightly curved blade with hamon lines, metal tsuba with silver tone foliage, the handle is black cloth over white sharskin material, there is not writing on the the blade tang, sword overall 40.5"l, for shipping total of all approx. 5.55lbs
