British No 4 Mark 1 Aircraft Signal Pistol, double action, marked on the left trigger guard "15202 and broad arrow", left side of trigger marked "45 in circle", left barrel side marked :15292" and " No 4 MK1 *", the top left slide latch housing and the front of slide latch with proof markings", behind the slide latch marked "MMC 45 within circle" (Molins Manufacturing Col), the 4" barrel, with lugs for aircraft installation using the upper slide, opens with lever at upper rear frame,1.5" bore, black plastic checkered grips, lanyard ring, finish rugs and scratches, push in safety at upper left frame, action is good, for shipping 7.5" x 8" x 2", 2.65lbs (67) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
