Lot description

Decorative African stitched hide wall-hanging animal picture, Cheetah, on solid black ground, approx 56"h, 31.5"w, 7lbs Provenance: Vukari Art, artisan-crafted from 100% Nguni Cowhide Note per consignor: Sitting tall, this is the princess of the savannah, The Sentinel. Ever ready, ever alert, she surveys the landscape, her keen eyesight penetrating the far distance, where anything up to five kilometers away will catch her attention. Cheetahs are daytime hunters and the distinctive black tear lines running down their face help to absorb some of the harsh African sunlight away from their eyes. This beauty in action, packs speed into grace; her chase shooting a sleek arrow of motion across the plains. They are indeed the fastest animals on the land, and with their poise and their grace, they earn the titles of the princes and princesses of the African plains.
