Large Chaco black-on-white pottery olla, the spherical vessel painted on the exterior above the shoulder with a finely hachured fretwork band and triangular complements, a pair of lug handles at the widest point, restoration, approx 15"h, 17"w, 14.5"d, 4.25lbs Provenance: From the collection of Frank K. Ribelin (1933-2010) through inheritance to consignor. This lot was examined via photograph by a highly regarded specialist in Native American and ethnographic art.
