French Empire gilt-metal mantel clock, early 19th c., surmounted by a figure of Napoleon Bonaparte on rearing horse, white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, dial marked Binet-Jacquot a Caen, time-and-strike movement marked Gaborit a Paris, over imperial eagles and draped foliate garland, rising on front paw feet, pendulum not present, time movement observed operating, runs fast, approx 18"h, 13.25"w, 5.25"d, 16.5lbs
