English Edwardian oak correspondence box/stationery box, early 20th c., the lid centering a large vacant shield-form cartouche and fall front, opening to graduated and divided storage/letter slots, ink receptacle with inkwell, writing surface fitted with corner guards and later added paper, lacking original surface, approx 8"h, 11.5"w, 6"d, 3.5lbs
