Spanish Colonial religious santo figure, Madonna of the Immaculate Conception, 19th c., inset carved bone face, over carved wood with gesso and polychrome paint, with gilt remnants, rising on a platform base, approx 12.5"h, 5.25"w, 3.5"d, 1.5lbs Provenance: the Stanley Family's fine Tarrytown Estate. PLEASE NOTE: Folk art pieces are inherently fragile. Most are likely to have repairs, small breaks, chips, and imperfections. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly.
