First-class (ex ossibus) relic of Saint Maria Teresa Goretti (Virgin and Martyr, Italian, 1890-1902), housed in a gold-tone metal theca reliquary, with scrollwork border, red wax seal with the Postulator General for Saint Maria Goretti's coat of arms verso, accompanied by certificate of authenticity issued by the Congregation of Discalced Clerics of the Most Holy Cross and Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ (The Passionists), certificate dated 1961, theca: approx 1.25"diam, 8.3 grams (inclusive of all materials) Provenance: from the extensive collection of a long-time contributor of relics, Catholic church goods, and liturgical antiques NOTE: ALL JEWELRY & COIN LOTS REALIZING OVER $1,000 MUST BE PAID BY BANK WIRE
