Spanish Mauser Model 1943 Short Rifle, mostly similar to the K98 Mauser, bolt action, 7.92 x 57mm caliber, 23.62" round barrel, blade front sight with wings, bayonet lug, two barrel bands, the second barrel band with sling loop at left, adjustable rear sight with numbers including "6340", "S/42G" and "8887",.the receiver ring marked with only the Spanish Air Force crest and the caliber appears at extreme left, the serial number at left outer receiver wall and on the straight bolt handle, the serial number appears twice on the floor plate, a hardwood stock with inset sling bar, a steel butt plate, wood with scratches and dents, metal with scratches, action is good, bore is bright with well defined rifling, SN EA10906 REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER
