Italian Venetian Louis XV style paint-decorated poudreuse/ dressing table, 19th c., in an all-over worn, yellow-painted finish with floral spray, shaped top with figural Chinoiserie pastoral scene, central lift-top revealing flat mirror plate, and shallow open storage, flanked by similar flip-top compartments, case fitted with frontal writing slide, over three drawers, rising on cabriole legs, approx 29.25"h, 29.75"w, 16 3/8"d, bottom of apron to floor (clearance): approx 21.5"h Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
