French Provincial Regence style walnut armchair / fauteuil, late 19th c., high back and seat in a green upholstery with nail-head trim, rising on stretcher-joined cabriole legs with carved shell and foliate motifs, ending on hoof feet, approx 46.5"h, 26.5"w, 24"d, seat height: approx 18"h Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
