(lot of 2) Silverplate and metal service items, early 20thc., including: (1) Neoclassical style sugar or stand with cut glass liner, marks for WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik), the frame with ornate floral festoons, radiating winged masks to each end, floral and foliate scroll swing handle, on anthemion and cloven hoof feet, the shaped glass dish with cut detail, WMF mark, I/0 and XO underfoot, approx 8"h, 6.5"w, 4.25"d; (1) Art Deco divided server or condiment dish, having metal handled tray, openwork designs, set with dual removeable glass dishes, approx 7 1/8"h, 8.75"w, 5.25"d; 3.5lbs total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
