English Georgian carved oak miniature longcase clock case, early 19th c., having swan neck pediment, above circular aperture fitted to house a pocket watch, rectangular body with central bone-inlaid diamond motif, on stepped plinth, accompanied by a later English sterling silver "Express" lever pocket watch, J.G. Graves, Sheffield, having engine-turned back with blank cartouche, white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, seconds subdial with Arabic markers, key wind movement, Chester hallmarks and "C" date code at dust cover, lacking key, operational status unknown, pocket watch case: approx 50mm, 131.9 grams (watch only, inclusive of all materials) overall: approx 10 3/8"h, 2.75"w, 1 7/8"d, 1.25lbs (for shipping purposes only) Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin.
