English George III period oak cupboard or cabinet, late 18th/ early 19th c., having stepped cornice with dentil molding, above dual paneled cabinet doors, revealing fixed-height shelving, central shelf with hanging hook storage, on bracket feet, paneled back, approx 80.5"h, 62"w, 25.75"d Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
