Second-class (ex velo) religious relic of the Blessed Virgin Mary, housed in a gilt-metal theca reliquary, further encased in a rectangular altar reliquary, the reverse sealed shut with later soldering preventing interior access, central glazed circular chamber, with applied rhinestone trim, above abstract depiction of Mother Mary with hands clasped in prayer, among chased foliates and floral motifs, accompanied by certificate of authenticity issued by Postulator General Nicolaus Ferrante, Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, certificate dated June 8th, 1961, theca: approx 1"diam, reliquary: approx 6 5/8"h, 3.5"w, 1"d, 345.5 grams (inclusive of all materials) NOTE: ALL JEWELRY & COIN LOTS REALIZING OVER $1,000 MUST BE PAID BY BANK WIRE
