Meissen porcelain nodding pagoda figure, after the model by J.J. Kaendler (Johann Joachim Kandler, German, 1706-1775), modeled as a grinning male figure in a yellow-lined robe decorated with "Indianische Blumen," seated crossed-legged, detachable head with a porcelain counter-balance, the head, hands and tongue all articulated, head and body with underglaze-blue crossed swords marks, restoration to both hands, approx 7.25"h, 7.75"w, 7.25"d, 3.5lbs
