Colt 1851 Navy Revolver, Fourth Model, .36 caliber, mfg. 1861, 7.5" octagonal barrel marked at the top "-Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America-" the blade front sight is now flat against the barrel, the six round smooth cylinder without visible scene but retains serial number, two line "Colt Patent" at lower left frame, brass trigger guard and backstrap, wood grips, serial number matched at butt, guard, frame, barrel lug and cylinder, metal dark with scars and scratching, hammer does not lock back and action irregular, lacks wedge screw, wedge is now wood, barrel dark with defined rifling, needs thorough cleaning, SN 109702
