Miniature Georgian writing bureau, late 18th c., possibly an apprentice piece, the slant front enclosing a green felt writing surface, interior gallery with pigeon holes, three small drawers, concealed compartment below a sliding panel, the base with two short drawers and two long drawers, on bracket feet, hinges later, approx 9.5"h, 9"w, 4.25"d, 2.5lbs Provenance: From a fine Austin estate. Purchased at Lady Primrose's Shopping English Countryside, Dallas, Texas, in 1986
