(lot of 27) French library shelf books, various literature, theater subjects, and periodicals, most with gilt-embossed leather binding, many with marbleized cover and raised spine bands, highlights include: (2) "Ouvres Completes de Francois Coppee (The Complete Works of Francois Coppee)," published by Alphonse Lemerre, Paris, with illustrations after F. de Myrbach, volumes I-II, (one) "Theatre," (one) "Poesies," (2) "Journal des Demoiselles (Young Ladies' Journal)," published at 14 Rue Drouot, Paris, spanning 1898 and 1899, (6) published by Arthaud Editions, in green and brown leather binding, with marbleized covers and end pages, largest: approx 11"h, 8"w, 1.75"d, 59lbs total PLEASE NOTE: All of the antique library shelf books in this auction are inherently fragile.
