Umlauf (Charles Umlauf, American, active in Austin, Texas, 1911-1994), Fonderia d'Arte, Del Chiaro, Pietrasanta, Lucca, Italy, rising on marble base, bronze: approx 25.25"h, 19.75"w, overall with marble base: approx 27"h, 20"w, 11.75"d, 88lbs Provenance: Austin Auction Gallery, January 23, 2022, lot 1559, purchased October 26, 2012 through the Russell Collection of Fine Art, from the personal collection of Charles and Angeline Umlauf. Image of this sculpture taken in Umlauf's private garden behind his home overlooking Zilker Park.
