Patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock, late 19th c., having torch and scroll crest with pierced foliate motifs, beside seated male figure in Elizabethan-style dress, possibly the playwright William Shakespeare, central white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, retailer mark Nillor Paris, rising on stepped wood plinth, accompanied by pendulum, not currently operational, lacking back access door, approx 13"h, 16.25"w, 8.5"d, 14.75lbs
