(lot of 2) French porcelain sugar bowls, including: (1) Sevres style sugar bowl and cover (pot a sucre et couvercle), domed cover with a molded berry finial, gilt rocaille scroll cartouches painted with basket of flowers and caged bird, reserved on a turquoise ground, above the bowl painted with two scenes of figures in pastoral landscapes, marked with spurious blue interlaced Ls enclosing letter P, approx 3.5"h, 3"diam, (1) Sevres Manufactory sugar bowl, gilt rim and molded handles, diagonal lines of painted pink roses, green S.58 lozenge mark, lacking cover, approx 3.75"h, 5.25"w, 4.5"d; 0.75lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
