Colt Model 1877 Lightning Revolver, Double Action, mfg. 1879, .38 caliber, 3.5" round barrel, blade front sight, grooved top strap, six round fluted cylinder, "Colt'" and address mostly obscured at barrel top, six round fluted cylinder, serial number matched at frame and trigger guard, caliber at rear left side of trigger guard, checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt, finish with scratching and retaining 30% of original nickel plating, action is good, bore is semi bright with some pitting and visible rifling, SN 17840 ANTIQUE
