Lot description
Hand-braided, patterned horse hair bridle with rusted bit, reins, lead and quirt, retains some red and black coloring, origin unknown, possibly Native American, for shipping items folded all approx. 12" x 4.5" x 4", total of all approx. 2.05lbs Note: According to the consignor only, this bridle and reins were acquired by his great-grandfather, Albert H. Dorrance (American; Nebraska, 1878–1966, California), in a trade with a Native American for a mule. The consignor states that this item has remained in his family by direct descent and was not in Texas prior to his own relocation
