(lot of 2) Southwest sterling silver bolo ties, Jacqueline Berliner and Tom Boykin, Silver Dragon Designs, Round Rock, Texas, silver plaque, silver bolo tips, braided black leather cord, including: (1) likely fossilized/ gem dinosaur bone, ornament stamped sterling/ B&B, bolo ornament only: approx 2.75"h, 1.75"w, (1) likely Picasso marble, ornament stamped B&B/ .925, bolo ornament only: approx 3.25"h, 1.75"w; 158.3 grams total (inclusive of all materials) Provenance: the collection of a psychiatrist who taught at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in the 1960s and went on to become a founding faculty member of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he taught thousands of doctors over a career into the 2000s. The doctor amassed his collection over several years with dedication, care, a critical eye for detail, and cultural appreciation.
