(lot of 2) U.S. Army Mounted Cavalry Rifle Belt Rings, Experimental Model 1912, for use with the Model 1904 leather garrison belt, designed for horseback when carrying the 1903 Springfield rifle, hinged with leather plate opens to lean the rifle against the soldiers hip, hinge allows the leather plate to close with not in use, one stamped "B64", the other stamped "1M" and "WB", for shipping approx. 10" x 5.5" x 2", total of both 2.90lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
