(lot of 2) Military Uniforms: (1) Massachusetts Volunteer Militia Uniform Jacket, late19th c, issued by one of the many militia units in the state, dark blue with a high collar having gilt and dark braiding, the sleeves with gilt braid, the coat retains 8 of the original 9 Scovill gilt convex front buttons displaying the Massachusetts Coat of Arms (Albert, MS 32A), and both of the small epaulette buttons, the lined interior with two pockets, no maker mark, jacket approx. shoulder to shoulder 15.5", shoulder to sleeve hem 22", shoulder to coat hem 25.5";  Note: The photo of a soldier in a similar uniform was taken from the Internet and is not the source of the uniform being offered in this lot*; (1) Sack Coat and Trousers, a fold over collar, the 5 eagle button dark blue coat with four back marked "Waterbury Button Co. Conn" one eagle with "I" back marked  "Waterbury Co.'s Inc. Conn", now two buttons at each sleeve, coat hem is squared, the unlined interior with one pocket, the lighter blue trousers with white stripe that conceal two front pockets, the waist with six buttons (no belt loops), one marked "Woolf Bros. Kansas City Mo", the fly with a bent button and eye- bar marked "Pat'd 1894", and four buttons marked "Solide Elegant", two rear pockets, coat approx. shoulder to shoulder 15.25", shoulder to sleeve hem 24", shoulder to coat hem 24", trousers waist approx. 33"w, waist to leg hem approx. 42.75", coat with moth holes, for shipping total of all approx. 5.05lbs    Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
