(lot of 44) Collection of library shelf books, French literature and drama subjects, each with leather spine, gilt embossed lettering and raised spine bands, many with marbleized cover and end paper, highlights include: (13) "Oeuvres de Alexandre Dumas (The Works of Alexandre Dumas)," by Alexandre Dumas, illustrations by Saint-Justh, with gilt embossed tan leather binding, published by Boutan-Marguin, incomplete set in thirteen volumes, (18) published by Editions Albin Michel, (thirteen) by Romain Rolland, (three) by Pierre Louys, (two) by Comtesse de Noailles (Anne de Noailles), (7) published by Les Grandes Etudes Historiques, the group with some overall wear to binding and text block commensurate with age and use, largest: approx 9"h, 6.25"w, 2"d, 48lbs total
