(lot of 3) Framed Antique Maps: (1) "Mexico and Guatimala", c. 1832, showing Mexico extending into the U.S. in what is now the Southwest and California, Texas is shown as parts of Sonora, "New St. Andero" and other designations, taken from the c.1835 publication by Thomas Kelly, London for "A New and Universal English Dictionary" by the Rev. James Barclay. Maps Drawn & Engraved by Alexander Findlay, appears in good condition, sight approx. 8.1/8"h, 9.7/8"w, frame 10.75"h, 12.5"w; (1) "Map of North America". Smith's Geography for Schools", 1839, shows Mexico extending into the northward into what is now California and Texas is a diminished sized, the United States with a population of "17,000.,000", and Alaska as "Russian Possessions", sight approx. 10.7/8"h, 8.75"w, frame 13.5"h, 11.5"w; (1) "Central America including Texas, California and the Norther States of Mexico", Society of the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, c. 1844, shows Mexico extending to "Columbia", "Upper California", Texas is outlined from the Rio Grande on the Gulf, north to the "River Arkansas" and includes Santa Fe, east to Louisiana and west to El Paso, sight approx. 11.5/8"h, 15.3/8"w, frame 16.75"h, 19.75"w, none examined out of frame, for shipping total of all 6.35lbs
