Framed Map printed ca.1709, "Americae tam Septentrionalis Quam Meridionalis in Mappa Geographica Deliniatio . . ." a map of North, Central and South America by German cartographer Adam Friedrich Zürner (Zurneri), (1679-1742) and printed at Amsterdam by Pieter Schenk (c. 1660-1711), the cartouches at top left and lower left and tropic zones have been hand colored and feature American Indians and European explorers, California is drawn as an island, various locations of American Indian tribes are noted, overall appears in excellent condition with a vertical center fold, some outer edge and inner spots with foxing, lettering is crisp throughout, framers tag at verso, not examined out of frame, sight approx.   20"h, 23"w, overall 26.35"h, 29.25"w, shipping weight approx. 6.35lbs
